“Through a twisted marriage of magic and science, the nefarious force known as Hydra has revived Lilith, Mother of Demons, after centuries of slumber,” a description for the game reads from a press release.

“Lilith will stop at nothing to complete an ancient prophecy and summon her evil master, Chthon. Pushed to the brink, the Avengers desperately look to fight fire with Hellfire by enlisting the help of the Midnight Suns – Nico Minoru, Blade, Magik, and Ghost Rider – young heroes with powers deeply rooted in the supernatural, formed to prevent the very prophecy Lilith aims to fulfill. Together, they resurrect an ancient warrior – the Hunter, Lilith’s forsaken child and the only hero known to have ever defeated her.”

There will be slight deviations from the more B-plot setup of the original comics’ place in the Marvel universe: for starters, we’re likely going to see more X-Men: Wolverine and Magik are seen in the teaser, suggesting more mutants will make it into the main game.

Per 2K’s description of the game, the Midnight Suns are an existing group made up of Nico Minoru, Blade, Magik, and Ghost Rider, who are called in by the Avengers – suffice to say, then, that you can expect more Marvel heroes to show up throughout the game. A full roster has yet to be revealed, though.

If the game follows the comic universe to any degree, you can expect to come up against the likes of Lilith’s demonic brood (Lilin, Djinn, Incubi, Succubi, and Mazikim) throughout the course of the game.

House of Ashes is the third installment of The Dark Pictures Anthology series. It is an interactive horror game under development by Supermassive Games and will be published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for a multi-platform release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and, for the first time, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on October 22, 2021.

Plot

Iraq, 2003. As the conflict draws to a close, CIA field operative Rachel King joins an elite military unit on a raid of a suspected underground chemical weapons facility in the shadow of the Zagros Mountains.

Arriving at the coordinates, the unit is ambushed by a local patrol led by Sergeant Salim Othman. During the battle, an earthquake opens sinkholes in the ground, pitching both sides into the ruins of a buried Sumerian temple. In the darkness beneath the Arabian Desert, something evil is awakened. Savage and unstoppable, a nest of ancient and unearthly creatures has a new prey to hunt.

Horrific discoveries and impossible decisions face the survivors as they strive to navigate the underworld and escape the terrifying threat. Will they each prioritize their own survival, or put aside their fears and their personal rivalries to fight together as one?

Gameplay

House of Ashes will be the first game in the anthology with a difficulty setting: Forgiving, Challenging and Lethal. Fixed cameras will be entirely replaced by a 360-degree camera and the flashlight can be toggled, allowing players to explore dark places in search of secrets and new paths. The Moral Compass has been redesigned and resemble Until Dawn's Butterfly effect.

Development

The first footage of this game appeared in Little Hope's gold framed picture, as well as a short teaser after the game credits.

On May 19, 2021, a teaser trailer was released, promoting the first gameplay reveal on May 27.

The release date was announced on June 10. The game will release on October 22.

On September 3, 2021, a 40-50 minute demo of the game was released to various content creators and game reviewers.

Forza Horizon 5 release date?

The Forza Horizon 5 release date is November 9, 2021, which was announced at E3.

What's the Forza Horizon 5 setting?

This time, the festival moves to Mexico. Once again, it'll be a pick-and-mix of different biomes, highlighting the variety of the country. The game's official Twitter recently released a snapshot of the entire Forza Horizon 5 map and it looks pretty impressive.

Playground is calling it the largest and most diverse open world in a Forza Horizon game to date, featuring rainforests, Mayan ruins, waterfalls, deserts, and the biggest volcano you've ever seen. While it looks to have some urban areas, the map also features a decent spread of other terrain types.

What should I know about the Forza Horizon 5 gameplay?

It's fair to expect Forza Horizon 5's racing to keep the series' pitch-perfect balance between the realistic and the casual. As great as its cars look, a more arcade sensibility and plenty of optional assists mean it's less of a sim than a celebration of cars and racing in general. The events will likely follow suit. Previous games featured plenty of racing, but also veered into stunts, skill combos and the joy of going very fast down a busy motorway for the sheer fun of it. Outside of the main career, optional side jobs would set challenges in specific cars, from point-to-point time trials to more outlandish challenges like racking up a certain number of drift points around a series of difficult bends.

For Forza Horizon 5, a new event type has been added to the campaign: Expeditions. These task players with travelling to a new part of the map. In a Eurogamer interview, Mike Brown calls Expeditions "a curated experience through the world where you'll have a character who really excitedly calls out all the cool things you can see." They also act as a showcase of Forza Horizon 5's tech. Brown references tropical storms and an active volcano: things that can happen in free roam, but are guaranteed to be showcased in the curated mode.

Other new features include Horizon Arcade, which is Forza Horizon 5's replacement of its predecessor's underwhelming Forzathon Live. Arcade is a series of public events that will appear around the map, featuring 12 different minigames that players will work collaboratively to complete. These events will chain together, letting players drop in and out as they please.

Also revealed at the E3 showcase, Forza Horizon 5 will feature a toolset called Events Lab that will let players create their own events. According to Mike Brown, the toolset is based on Playground's own internal tools. "It's very powerful. It's a rule-based system where you put in: when this happens, this is the outcome, when this happens with these conditions, then this is the action," he told Eurogamer.

Is Forza Horizon 5 coming to Game Pass?

Yes. As with all of Microsoft's first-party releases, Forza Horizon 5 will be released on day one on Xbox Game Pass, as well as on Steam and through the Microsoft Store.

One of the new features coming in Forza Horizon 5 is the game's ray-traced audio meaning that engine sounds will change based on your environment. Whether you're in the middle of a rainforest or zooming down a city-street, the sound of your car's engine adapts dynamically based on your changing location.

After engine sound complaints from fans surrounding Forza Horizon 4, Playground is also adding 320 car recordings to the new instalment, as well as granular hybrid looping, which draws from "thousands of little audio files" to react precisely to how the player is driving.

Hogwarts Legacy story Line

 

Hogwarts Legacy release date 

Hogwarts Legacy was initially set to be released at some point in 2021, but after a recent delay, we won't be seeing it until 2022. This is for the sake of making the game as good as it can be.

The game will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC. The graphical differences we can expect between these generational gaps is currently unconfirmed, but it’s probably safe to say Hogwarts Legacy will look better on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The game is being developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Games. Avalanche Software previously developed Cars 3: Driven to Win, so Hogwarts Legacy is a big step up for them as far as scale goes.

Warner Bros. has been confirmed to be showing up at E3, but it was recently revealed that both Hogwarts Legacy and Suicide Squad would not be shown during the event.

Hogwarts Legacy story 

Hogwarts Legacy will revolve around player choice first and foremost, allowing the user to utilize their incredible abilities for the good of the world or giving into more wicked and sinister desires. Apparently, the game will use a customizable character who has unlocked some sort of “ancient secret” that has the potential to destroy the world. 

After receiving a late acceptance into Hogwarts, the player will discover that they possess a far greater understanding of “Ancient Magic” than most of their peers. What the actual result of this will be is hard to determine, but we could see a large open world with tons of side quests. 

It's also been confirmed that "J.K. Rowling is not directly involved in the creation of the game" and that it's "not a new story from J.K. Rowling." Howeverthis obviously does not change that she will be receiving profits from sales and publicity from the existence of the game.

Jason Schreier has confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy will have "trans-inclusive character creation, with body, voice, and gender ("witch/wizard") all separated." He specifically points out that "some members of the Hogwarts Legacy dev team had been pushing hard for this, uncomfortable with Rowling's position and rattled by the effects she has had on a game they've put a lot into."

Far Cry 6 Story line

In Far Cry 6 you'll be fighting in a revolution against the rule of Yara's dictator Antón Castillo who has been in power for 50 years. It appears to be a dangerous time for the country, with the trailer showing government agents with guns and riot shields and civilians with explosives. Ubisoft says its writing team spent time in Cuba getting to know the island and meeting former guerrilla revolutionaries that influenced the game's story. 

"When you're looking at something as complex as an island that's been essentially cut off from the rest of the world for 50 years, been in an economic downturn, electing this leader on the back of this idea of building a new paradise, the idea with Antón is he definitely lulled people into believing this was the only answer for them. That he was the one that was going to solve all their problems," Khavari says "And so for us, it became super-interesting on the character side to explore the idea of, you know, there definitely were some people that voted for him, that believed in him, that now are regretting that choice; and there are those that still support him. The intersection of those demographics and worldviews and opinions is something that plays out in the story as well."

Ubisoft say that Antón witnessed his own father being executed 50 years ago, part of how he rationalizes his policies and the views that he attempts to pass on to his own son Diego. "He believes that not only do the Castillos deserve to be in power, but they're the only ones that are going to be able to see Yara through to becoming a paradise once again."

Ubisoft haven't said yet how Dani becomes involved with the two Castillos just yet, but Khavari tells Game Informer that "That triangle of characters between Antón, Diego, and Dani is absolutely crucial."
